I’m Jordan Behan,

and for over 18 years, I’ve been a marketing leader for software companies.

I’ve worked with 🌱early-stage companies, 🦄 growth-phase unicorns and 🚪 companies that have achieved successful exits.

Along the way, I’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t. 

My first big marketing revelation was that software companies don’t have to splash out big budgets to gain traction in their target markets. With a few foundational systems, they can enable growth and acquire more customers.

The story of how I developed my systems sounds a lot like the origin story of a lot of startups. I started by solving my own problem.

When I first started Narrate Creative in 2014, my focus was on content creation for software companies. To onboard a new client, I had to ask a lot of questions about their company, their product, their customers, and more. 

To make it easier on myself, I started devising onboarding systems that every client would complete, so we had all of the answers to my questions before I started advising them. 

This was my first key revelation as a content creator and carries over to my life as a coach.
